The Last Song
What do you think the movie's about when you see this poster hanging around Times Square?
- Miley Cyrus and this Liam Hemsworth guy and their romance. Hard love, hardships to go through and everything.
Remember they said "Waterworks Guaranteed".
Yeap, i did weep a little. But it wasn't all about their love story. It's about the family that i was weeping about.
Why? So why do i skip the love story part.
Before coming into this movie, i have got bad vibes from Miley Cyrus and the Liam Hems-not-worth-it guy. Miley first gave me, not a good impression. She was just famous because of her dad. Liam, on the other hand, i hate guys like him. Because of this movie, he started a relationship with Miley without telling his girlfriend. After the news got out, ONLY he broke up with his girlfriend. What a douche bag.
Uhm... actually, their love story. I mean, the love story in between Veronica aka Ronnie (played by Miley Cyrus) and Will (played by So-Not-Worth-It) was like this. They met, they kissed, the fell in love. They broke up because Will's ex-girlfriend got jealous, they got together again because of a kiss, they broke up again because of some conflict that related to her dad. They got together again because he is giving up his education opportunity to be with her.
Yep! yep... that's about it.
If the whole movie is ALL about them, i might as well delete the whole thing. But what stayed me back, was about her bonding with his little brother and the bonding between her and her dad.
See, she cares about her little brother no matter what happened. That's a part that i love. And the other part is that...
His father had cancer and about to die soon and how she is willing to take care of him until his dying day.
So, people. The last song ain't about the love story of teenagers. It's about the love of family. No matter how you hate your family, until the end of the day, they are the ones who stand in front of you, giving a helping hand.
I'd rate it a 9 if it's a family movie...
But...
6 over 10... i am sorry, i am not a fan of Liam Hemsworst
oh oh! one heck of a brilliant song from Miley
