Deji - Deji Volume 129 - Iron Man review`

Just finished watching the Iron Man 2 Behind the Scenes. Yeap~! Sure, nothing is as good as the actual movie alright.

so imma begin my review here.

From the start of the movie, i didn't expect to see anything wow-ish in this movie. Since i got calls from my sister and friends (yep, Facebook, too. Delon's the name -don't kill me-) and most of them said,

"not much action."
"First, you wanted to adjust your position to get some comfortable feeling while watching the long waited fighting scene. In the first second, BAM~ Whiplash died~"
"Too much talking lar~!!!" - ha, this one i wanna argue a bit... Wait for it.
"Not as nice as the first Iron Man" - i wanna argue with this one also... hahah~~

True, people said it's not much action. It was true, but it only occurs when Whiplash is on screen. I don't know. Judging by the fact, you start tickling your clock in the second Expo. Then you'll see how long they spent on the action part. And not to forget the scene where Stark went for the Race. It was nice (but i covered my eyes, just a little bit)

Too much talking scene is not a problem for me. Sure, Iron Man, a Marvel, should go (on a tradition) like this:
One random guy (mostly goody goodies) lives in an apartment drinking coffee and reads the sport section every morning. And here comes an... an... insect, bite him. But then he doesn't give a damn, keep on living his Life normally.
then ONE DAY (put on a heavy tone in it), he realizes that he can FLY~~~~~!! (with string attached). Then one bad guy discovers his power and tried to kill him to prove himself as the most powerful man in the world.
In the fighting scene, they started off nicely. But then the goody's shirt (suit we call) got all torn off and here comes the Miracle~! Some blow which go WHOOOSH drove the bad guy into the sky. That's a Marvel story. (and i don't get why Spiderman could do 4 movies, going on the same storyline)

But Iron Man's different. Most of the Heroes are all, goodies... But Anthony Stark (better known as Tony Stark) is someone with his huge Ego. (yeap, A BIG ONE) Someone who thinks that he is the one who bring world peace. Yeap, what's a Marvel movie without bad guys? Here comes Whiplash, the "octopus" my brother called. His name says it all. Two whipping hands..

Wait, let me break things down first... (hope i got these all in the right order)

I think he was having a conference with the government. He had this suit right? Government wanted him to hand in the suit to bring peace to the world. But what's bothering him was this centerpiece thing (Jiayi said it was a magnet to connect all his insides... BWAHAHHHAHA) was increasing the toxicity in his body. Which wasn't a good thing (this is the thing that's different from other Marvel, HA~! beat them all)

Then then, when Stark was racing in Monaco, He was attacked by Whiplash. He was the son of Howard's Partner, Something Vanko. He collaborated with Howard on the first arc reactor and got deported to the Soviet Union but he died. So this Whiplash blamed his father death on Stark.

Vanko got sent into jail but Justin Hammer (rival of Stark, who also releases Weapons for a living) got him out to help him on the Iron Man suit. He himself go and invent things that are (in my opinion) completely useless (you'll get this idea when you see the face of Rhodey while Hammer was introducing the Ex-Wife -wait for it-)

Then here comes the Natasha Rushman (Natasha Romanoff)(Black Widow)(I don't care) as Stark's personal assistance. Yeap, Pepper Potts had been promoted to be the CEO of Stark Industries. (And i think in the past, someone told me that she is the Antagonist in the movie)~

Then, since the toxicity is rising in his body, he wanted to do things that he wanted to do in his Birthday Party (which was Miss Assistance's idea). So he put on his Iron Man suit and kicked some ass (i mean, glass).

Yea, sure he did kick asses of glasses (wow, that rhymes), he kicked his best friend Rhodey's butt too. The two of them were fighting in Stark's and Rhodey ended up taking the suit back to the government.

Then Nick Fury came to Stark and revealed the Real Natasha. She's an agent. If i am not mistaken, Nick Fury gave a tape to Stark, which he played them back at home.

It was a message from his father, Howard Stark. He said there's a hidden message in the diorama. And it turned out to be a diagram of the atomic structure of a new element. He figured it out and took the element to cure himself (smart bloke). --> this is when he changed his center piece to the triangular shape (which i am not happy about)

Then, Mr. Ivan Vanko also known as the Whiplash a.k.a. the Cippled Octopus contacted Tony Stark, saying that he was alive and wanted a revenge. (whoopsie, adjust my seat first, climax is coming)

at the Expo, Justin Hammer introduces the Suits of the Army, Navy, something something blah blah blah.... with War Machine (Rhodey was in it)... Stark wore his Iron Man suit and got to the expo to warn Rhode. But the War Machine was under Whiplashes control. So this Black Widow went to the Hammers Industries and turned off the program that controls the War Machine.

This is the best part. The drones (yeap, the suits that Hammer released) were all creamed by Iron Man and War Machine and here comes Whiplash with his own suit. What's funny was ...

Rhodey had this idea of bringing down Whiplash. So he released the Ex-Wife (as he heard how this Ex-Wife work as what Hammer said back in the military). But ...

it didn't even explode, i was only a gentle touch.

His death, i don't want to tell you what they did. But in the end... Pepper quit as the CEO position and there was this after credit scene. See it for yourself because i didn't catch that.

yeap~! Overall, i LOVE this movie and i wanted to watch this again without blinking my eyes. What's amazing was that i didn't have the time to check the time, it was so nice that i wanted to be in the cinema for the rest of the day.
